Transport Empire Overview
Transport Empire is a transport simulator that's being made by visitors of the Transport Tycoon forums. Over the past years, many transport simulators have been released that tried to be the sequel to the famous Transport Tycoon Deluxe by Chris Sawyer. But even Locomotion, created by Chris Sawyer himself, missed a critical gameplay experience to really make it the sequel to Transport Tycoon Deluxe.
Our efforts are of course no guarantee that we will succeed but we've spent much time on determining what key features are required to appeal to players of transport simulators. Recently we've seen the release of the Functional Requirements Document and the formation of a coding group. Soon they will start writing the core of Transport Empire.
